Generally, the cost of translating a document is calculated by the number of words or lines in the text, taking into account the complexity of the text and the anticipated time spent working on it. These costs usually include additional proofreading services by a second native English speaker to ensure your translation is of the highest possible quality.

Proofreading and Editing

Proofreading and editing tasks are generally calculated in accordance to time spent, usually by the hour. A fixed hourly rate will be agreed upon in advance. Naturally, the quality and complexity of your text will determine the end price. Please send your text for proofreading or editing by email to help me advise you further.

Minimum Fee

A minimum fee of €30-€40 is charged for all orders. The reason for this is that even very short translation or proofreading jobs require a certain amount of administrative work and other expenses. Therefore, we charge a minimum fee per translation or proofreading order. Extra charges may also apply for urgent and weekend work.
